Hands off ACC

The Government’s attack on ACC is no accident.

The Government continuesto claim that there is a costs ‘blow-out’. They have invented a "crisis" around ACC so they can open it up to private sector insurance companies, just as they did in 1999.

ACC is the world’s best accident and injury compensation scheme and something New Zealand should be proud of. Opening it up to private companies will make it more not less expensive to run. It will make it slower and more difficult for injury victims to get payment, and it will not get people back to work quicker.
