How will redundancy provisions apply?

If the workplace is damaged to such an extent that the employer cannot reopen then employees may be entitled to redundancy compensation. If you are entitled to redundancy payments, the details will be included in your employment agreement. Also, if an agreement contains an act of god clause it is likely that it will be in the redundancy section. In that case it is possible that the agreement may deny workers redundancy compensation in the event of a natural disaster.
