Trade Union History Project Seminar: "New Zealand Connections to the Spanish Civil War"

Friday 3rd November 2006 - pre seminar get together, film screening
Saturday 4th November 2006 - seminar during day, evening film screening, concert at Bar Bodega.
Sunday 5th November - seminar during day

The seminar is being run with the support of Victoria University of Wellingtons School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations, and of the New Zealand Film Archive . The New Zealand Film Archive will also be running a concurrent festival of films about the Spanish Civil War.  Films include: A Question of Principle (NZ, 1976), Tom Spiller and the Spanish Civil War (NZ, 1986), The Spanish Holocaust, (Spain, 2003) and The Spanish Earth / Terre d'Espagne, (Spain/Netherlands/USA, 1937).
