This two-day train-the-trainer workshop is being led by Canadian union economist Jim Stanford. It is primarily aimed at union people who are involved in education design and facilitation – including union organisers with education responsibilities. The course will use the theory and extensive teaching resources based on Jim’s book – Economics for Everyone: A Short Guide to the Economics of Capitalism (the book [2nd Edition] is required reading for the course and copies will be provided as part of the cost of the course). This workshop aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to facilitate economics workshops within their own organisations and beyond.

Note: This course is NOT APPROVED for use of ERE Leave.

Further note: The date and location of this course have been amended since it was first listed (It was previously scheduled to be a three-day course in Wellington).
