Rally for Fairness at Work

21 & 22 August

Auckland * Wellington * Christchurch * Dunedin

On July 18 2010 John Key announced the National Government's plan to drastically change employment law in New Zealand. If passed the changes will take away workers' rights, remove protections, cut pay, reduce holidays and diminish access to sick leave.

Unions are committed to stopping these changes and building a New Zealand where we all enjoy fair rights at work, decent wages and access to strong public services.

Details of what the Government is proposing have already been extensively covered in the media, but more information can be found at fairness.org.nz.

Join Fairness at Work on Facebook for regular updates.

We want to show the Government the depth of opposition to these unnecessary and unfair law changes at the rallies to be held across the country this Saturday. Please come and join us – bring friends and family – there will be music, speeches and more at each rally. Giving just a little of your time will kick start the campaign to reverse this attack on every worker’s rights.
