Temporary Organiser position in the Auckland office
The PSA is the largest union in New Zealand and is an innovative and dynamic organisation employing 120 staff throughout New Zealand. Over 58,000 members work in central and local government, health and community services. The focus of the PSA is to advance the rights and conditions of members through building collectivity in the workplace. The PSA takes a strategic approach to building unionism.
Are you committed to and passionate about workers’ rights? We have a position for a temporary organiser for 3-4 months based in our Auckland office.
The position involves organising in the PSAs health and local government sectors.
The position would suit someone with previous organising experience, or a delegate with suitable experience who would be able to gain a secondment from their current employer.

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATION OFFICER GENERAL
We are looking for a part-time Administration Officer to be based in our Christchurch Regional Office. The vacancy is for 3.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, preferably from 11am to 3pm.
Key responsibilities include
1. To provide reception and clerical services for the Field Officers based in the Regional office in Christchurch.
2. To carry out the full range of word processing duties using Microsoft Word, Power Point and Publisher, and the use of the membership system, including complex work with a minimum of supervision.
3. To carry out clerical duties, including duties requiring confidentiality and some decision-making with minimal direction.
