The NZ Dairy Workers Union – Te Runanga Wai U (DWU) is a strong, well-resourced, and established Union representing over 8,500 workers in the NZ dairy processing industry. We have high levels of membership in some of the largest businesses in the dairy sector and provide a range of services to our members from employment advice and advocacy through to individual welfare and benefit programmes.
The DWU has a vacancy for a fulltime organiser position responsible for organising and representing members employed within the Upper Waikato region including sites at Pokeno, Mangatawhiri, Horotiu, and Hamilton. Extensive travel within the Upper Waikato region, as well as outside the region for union-related matters, will be required of the successful applicant.
For the right candidate we offer a competitive remuneration package including a motor vehicle and other benefits in accordance with the DWU Staff Collective Employment Agreement, as well as the opportunity to work with a great team of people.
