Unions Otago, the Local Affiliates Council of the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, is commemortating International Workers Memorial Day at the Otago Workers Memorial on Market Reserve in Princes Street in Dunedin at 11.45am.
Otago Trades Council stalwart and Unions Otago life-member Sandra Bishop will speak, marking 15 years since the establishment of the Otago Workers Memorial.
The ceremony will be followed by a function at the Masonic Lodge in Manor Place. Light refreshments will be served.
