The NZCTU is excited to welcome to Aotearoa Teresa Conrow and Dina Feller – two of the very best strategic campaigners and educators who will be here to conduct a one-time-only masterclass on strategic campaigning.
Teresa is highly experienced and respected throughout the world regarding her decades of work with unions on global and local strategic organising campaigns. She is the author of numerous labour organising books and articles, and is on the Advisory Committee of the University of California (UCLA) Labor Center.
Dina is highly experienced trade unionist and her mahi takes her around the globe. She is the co-author of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Toolkit on Power Resources for union leaders. She lives in Argentina where she works with mining unions, the meat workers’ federation, the dockers’ and seafarers’ confederation, and telecommunications unions as well as aviation unions throughout Latin America.
This Masterclass will give participants the opportunity to work closely with Teresa and Dina on applying learned skills to an existing or developing campaign, relative to their union.
