Te Whatu Ora is proposing to slash jobs from a department that brings in millions of dollars a year and ensures safety in hospitals, rest homes and other community health providers. The Treaty Principles Bill is back in Parliament this evening and is expected to be voted down by all parties, except Act. US President Donald Trump authorised a 90-day pause as part of his tariff plan but has raised the rate for China to 125%, effective immediately.
