We are looking for a full time, fixed term, organising administrator to support our industrially focused organising staff in our Wellington office. This role will be based at the Wellington office reception.
This is a fast-paced, challenging role where you will provide organising support to the assistant secretaries, NSLs (National Sector, Support, Strategic and Māori Leaders), organisers, delegates and members. This includes mail outs, ballot administration, travel bookings and general administration and office duties.
We need someone with a good skill base and broad administrative experience who can plan, prioritise and work to deadlines, has sound computer literacy, can collect and process information, is approachable and customer-focused, has good written and verbal communication skills, and a good eye for detail.
The salary range for this position is $81,302 to $100,285. New employees enter the range on a starting rate based upon previous relevant experience and commensurate with internal relativities. Progression to the top of the scale is by regular and automatic service steps.
