  • In healthcare and disability services:
  • At Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora the following occupations: Allied health and technical workers, mental health nurses and other mental health and addictions workers, clerical and administration workers, primary health and central functions workers.
  • In government funded organisations delivering home care (excluding aged care), mental health and addictions services and disability support – all occupations.
  • Tertiary education institutions – clerical and administration workers.

Unite is the union for hospitality workers. We’re a campaigning union with a long history of supporting members in precarious work including youth, casual and migrant workers. We have collective agreements with the major employers including McDonald’s, Restaurant Brands, SkyCity and Accor and are currently progressing towards New Zealand’s first Hospo Fair Pay Agreement to cover all hospitality workers.
